Some strategies for studying work far better than other methods. We are going to share some of our recommendations for which study methods are worth your time and energy to invest in learning.

Today you will find a large amount of writing articles for internet websites or blogs. You will be writing to an audience that wants you to talk to them like you would a good friend sitting in your living room having a conversation. Try to get that type of writing style and you will be more able to sell your articles to potential clients.

Your teen is chronically defiant. All teenagers talk back or buck up against the system from time to time. This is normal because teens are trying to find themselves and to do so, they must reject authority figures in some ways. This is why you shouldn’t take rejection personally, but it is also why you need to pay attention when defiance becomes chronic. If your child won’t listen to anyone, even when you know that he knows that adults are acting in his best interests, you have may have a troubled teen. Normal teens are alternately receptive, compliant and rebellious. When they realize that their behavior was out of line, they apologize.

You may be wondering why I prefer a study such as this. One reason is that you really dig into scripture. Always have everything that you need close by. There is nothing more distracting to your study session that standing up and having to go grab a pen or a class of water. So before you sit down, make sure you have all of your notes, stationary, a bit of nourishment and of course text books!

Once you have a fairly clear idea what you want to write, it’s time to take things up a notch and create a blueprint. Whereas the first part of the planning stage should be quite free-flowing, it’s now time to arrange things into a cohesive structure. Some people skip the blueprint stage altogether, and that’s a matter of personal preference and also depends on what you’re writing and why. But I find rushing ahead to write before I have a clear idea what I’m writing about often leads to dead-ends and a lot of frustration and wasted time. I like to have a blueprint for what I’m writing – or at the very least a clear idea of the beginning, middle and end. Then I can simply relax into the next step and be confident that there’s an underlying structure in place to keep me right.

By spending time with your teen and following a structured guide to practice specific techniques, your teen can learn in a safe environment how to avoid accidents rather than learning on the road where the dangers are real. Take time to have your teen pull off the road, over the noise markers, and then slowly correct their path to get the vehicle back on the road.

At the start of each writing project, ask the question, Why am I writing this? Then write down your reason and keep it in sight as a constant reminder.

Clear limits must be set. For example, if teen substance abuse is present and your teen relapses, there must be a clear plan of action (returning to a 12-step program, taking prescribed medication etc.), no car or cell phone or freely going out with friends until your teen has proven to be on the path of recovery.

All competent trainers, teachers, and coaches know their power is fueled by a positive relationship and positive relationships are fueled by the right mixture of acceptance, challenge, reward, and punishment. Having a proper study area is one of the most beneficial actions one can take when beginning a distance learning program. It is a place where you can concentrate at the task at hand without distraction. Once you have it in place you will be surprised at how it adds to your learning experience.
